KUALA LUMPUR: An assistant registrar at the Land and Mineral Office registration division pleaded not guilty in the Sessions court here Friday to criminal breach of trust involving RM15mil.
Mohammad Irwan Adnan, 35, allegedly committed the offence at the said premises located in Federal House, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin between Oct 20 and March 30, 2007.
The prosecution, represented by deputy public prosecutors Syed Feisal Syed Amir and Hamidi Mohd Noh, urged the court to impose a RM100,000 bail in one surety.
However, counsel Shamsul Sulaiman mitigated for a lower sum as the accused had a wife and three children to support.
Judge Che Zulkiply Jusoh allowed bail of RM20,000 in one surety and fixed Dec 5 for re-mention. - Bernama
